Senior Data Scientist

Bungie is looking for an experienced Data Scientist to help shape measurement and optimization of marketing campaigns. As part of the Bungie Analytics & Insights team you will join a diverse team of analysts, data scientists, data engineers, and researchers. You will leverage your expertise in data analysis and machine learning to provide marketers, business leaders, and project leads with actionable insights to make the best marketing campaigns possible. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop relationships with members of the publishing and marketing teams to understand their analytics and data science needs
• Designing experiments to clearly measure lift with control groups, as well as conducting inferential analysis to estimate uplift (casual analysis) from historical efforts
• Perform ad-hoc analyses that inform marketing decisions being made by the team
• Transform raw data and build efficient pipelines to create and support customer facing dashboards and reporting resources
• Communicate the results of your analyses to technical and non-technical colleagues
• Translate hypotheses about marketing campaign behavior into models to improve campaigns
• Develop models for predicting and segmenting audience response
• Various other data related tasks necessary to support the team

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Proven experience as a Data Scientist, Technical Analyst, or similar role
• Advanced SQL skills
• Intermediate Python or R skills
• Experience analyzing large media data sets (e.g. Attribution, Campaign Tests, etc.)
• Experience applying ML models and statistical analysis
• Foundational knowledge of statistics and test measurement
• Understanding of digital media fundamentals
• Ability to create clear data visualizations for a variety of stakeholders
• Ability to effectively communicate technical insights to a non-technical audience
• Understanding of data science use cases and data engineering concepts (e.g., modeling, pipelines, warehousing)
• Knowledge of database marketing fundamentals (e.g. segmentation)

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tool
• Experience with Web Analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
• Experience with data warehousing and data engineering
• Interest in Gaming and foundational knowledge of Games
