Stash is looking for a Senior Data Scientist experienced with lifecycle and/or acquisition marketing.

This role will partner closely with Marketing to drive data driven decision making using LTV modeling, AB testing, opportunity sizing, incrementality testing, and customer journey mapping.

What you’ll be doing:

• Partner with the Lifecycle Marketing team to develop and execute data-driven growth strategies
• Collaborate with Marketing, Engineering, and Product on channel/campaign experimentation and A/B testing; opportunity size, plan and analyze tests
• Apply advanced analytics and models to identify high-value customer segments and optimize marketing campaigns
• Analyze customer behavior and marketing performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
• Develop A/B testing frameworks to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives
• Transform large sets of transaction, clickstream, and third-party data to create clean data models using dbt
• Communicate complex findings to senior leadership
• Mentor and develop junior data scientists.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
• 5+ years of experience in data science with a focus on growth and lifecycle marketing
• Strong proficiency in SQL, with an understanding of storing and querying data from Redshift, or similar data warehouses
• Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages
• Knowledge of Looker or similar BI tool
• Proven ability to drive business results with data science, including direct collaboration with stakeholders and communication with senior leaders
• Experience with statistical modeling and machine learning techniques
• Track record of designing and conducting statistically rigorous experiments

Gold Stars:

• Advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
• Experience with dbt
• Experience building and deploying LTV and propensity models
• Comfort with Spark, AWS, and Airflow

Salary Range: $135,300 - $202,950

The base salary range represents the reasonably anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience and competencies, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data for companies of our size and industry.
