The opportunity

Unity Monetization Team, a division of Unity, builds advertising, in-game purchase promotions, and other personalized content delivery solutions and technologies used in hundreds of thousands of apps. Our Monetization team builds the technology infrastructure and serving systems that manage the delivery of relevant content to hundreds of millions of users every day. Our platform processes massive data sets that feed into machine learning systems that live in the core of various of our products.

Various deep-learning techniques are revolutionizing automated decision-making systems and Unity is riding the front wave. Unity is investing in deep and deep-reinforcement learning development on multiple fronts. Specifically, Unity Monetization is investing in mastering these methodologies and applying them to real-world problems of advertising, game economics, and monetization. At Unity, we develop cutting-edge machine learning-centric products that provide millions of predictions for recommendations every second to optimize the effectiveness and profitability of user acquisition advertising campaigns. Thus, we are looking to add a Data Science Manager to join our amazing team, working in our Austin office.

What you'll be doing

• Work with a global team (Tel Aviv, Montreal, Helsinki, and San Francisco) to revolutionize the personalization of user acquisition advertisement for mobile gaming
• Implement and drive the development of deep learning and machine learning algorithms with the tech stack of Python/Spark/Tensorflow/Keras/PyTorch
• Perform deep data analysis to evaluate algorithm performance
• Lead innovation initiatives and stay in tune with the latest technologies and algorithms
• Perform ongoing optimization improvements

What we're looking for

• At least 5 years of experience leading data science projects from idea to production using various ML solutions
• At least 5 years of NN experience, and at least 2 years of ML experience with tabular data
• Excellent technical skills and strong knowledge of Python, SQL, PySpark
• Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
• Solid background in algorithms, data structures, probability, and statistics
