A Federal Agency Office of Human Resources is seeking business management support, including development and maintenance of business plans, business decision-making, acquisition/contract management, strategic planning, information technology, data analytics, and knowledge management.

The Senior Data Scientist will collaborate with the Federal Agency Office of Human Resources, emphasizing pivotal areas such as business management, strategic planning, and decision-making. The role involves crafting and sustaining data architectures, managing acquisition/contracts, and leveraging expertise in IT, data analytics, and knowledge management. This position is instrumental in enhancing and innovating organizational processes. The Senior Data Scientist will work closely with product design and engineering teams, understanding their requirements, and pioneering statistical models for data analysis. By disseminating findings to stakeholders and employing analytics for profound insights, they will foster smarter business operations and remain updated with the latest technical and industry trends.

Roles and Responsibilities

Requirements

• A minimum of 15 years of experience in designing and implementing data applications at an enterprise scale.
• A track record of liaising with senior-level clients, grasping their challenges, and proposing tailored solutions.
• Demonstrable leadership prowess, with a history of steering cross-functional teams through proposal creation and project fruition.
• An analytical mindset, adept at converting client needs into tangible plans and solutions.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in engaging and negotiating with top-tier clients.
• A deep-rooted understanding of the industry, its competitive dynamics, and an eye for spotting emerging trends and growth potentials.
• Expertise in scripting and programming to transform diverse data types into functional formats, aiding project teams to scale, and managing data platforms.
• Proven capability to oversee others, helm projects, and ensure deliverables in a team-oriented environment.
