Job Overview:

The CureMD Databases team helps the healthcare individuals seamlessly make the switch to CureMD products and supports them along the way. You swiftly solve technical issues to show how our products can make the lives of healthcare individuals more productive, collaborative, and innovative. Moreover, you use the data to perform Business Intelligence which provides business related trends helping shape a better product for the customers and going one step ahead you use Machine Learning models to predict the outcomes of problems that can rapidly improve the healthcare efficiency for the practices. You work closely with a cross-functional team of web developers and systems administrators, not to mention a variety of international users.

Databases team helps healthcare individuals transform and evolve their processes through the use of CureMD’s vast network, web-scale data centers and software infrastructure. As part of an innovative team in this rapidly growing business, you will help shape the future of how users of all sizes practice technology to connect with patients and other relevant partners. You will work with Healthcare practices in United States. As a Machine Learning Data Scientist, you will follow the Data Science Methodology to understand the client’s problem, use analytical approach to establish how data can answer the client’s problem, formulate data requirements, collect data through relational database systems from the cloud, understand the data, prepare it for your machine learning model, create a machine learning model for the problem, evaluate it, and present it to the client. Additionally, you will work closely with Product Management and Product Engineering to apply data science to the internal data to build and constantly drive excellence in our products.

Job Responsibilities:

• Communicate with the client and get the business understanding of the problem.
• Decide the type of model that should be created (prescriptive, predictive) to answer the problem.
• Formulate the data requirements for the problem, collect data, understand data by applying statistical operations on entities and finding correlations between the entities, and cleansing of data to prepare it for the model.
• Create the best possible model to address the problem
• Evaluate the model and report the results using text and visualizations.

Qualifications:

• BS degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Knowledge of Data Science Methodology.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning models
• Experience with Python or R
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, IBM2, and SQL Server.
• Experience with Data Visualization tools or libraries such as Power BI, Tableau
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills
• MS in Data Science
• Online Certifications related to Data Science
• Candidates with Healthcare domain knowledge will be preferred.
• Experience with Data Science Frameworks e.g. TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, Pandas, Seaborn, etc
• Experience developing ELT or ETL workflows.
