Senior Data Scientist - Credit Risk

We began by revolutionizing rent — Americans’ largest recurring bill. We enable our users to pay rent and bills throughout the month on a schedule that better fits their finances. After deliberately keeping a stealth profile as we built up unprecedented investor support and an enthusiastic user base, we plan to scale to 300 team members in 2022. Preferred Experience: 

• At least a bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics or other rigorous quantitative field
• At least one of 2 years’ prior professional experience, an advanced degree research project or a portfolio to demonstrate experience applying data science and predictive modeling to real world problems
• Strong knowledge of fundamental statistics and machine learning
• Python programming experience
• Familiarity with major Python scientific computing libraries (sklearn, numpy, pandas etc) Jupiter PM. 
• Strong SQL skills

Nice-to-Have Experience: 

• Prior experience with any of:
  • Operating in an AWS cloud computing environment
  • dbt (data build tool)
  • beam, dask or spark
  • snowflake
  • tableau
• Prior experience working in the Banking, Financial Services or Payments industries
• Demonstrated experience productionizing machine learning models
• Prior experience on a risk managing team or in a risk managing org
• Prior experience in a software engineering role or a track record of contributions to professional quality software products
