Senior Data Scientist Engineer

Client Overview:
Our client is a leading provider of technical services, delivering both standard and custom intranet and internet-based software and applications systems. Due to increasing demand for in-house digital projects, the client is seeking to outsource certain development tasks to strategic partners.

Project Objectives:
The client is looking to build strategic long-term relationships with leading development partners to accelerate business growth through high-quality and cost-efficient software development. The selected partner(s) will support the development of robust and scalable Consumer and Enterprise applications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement machine learning models using Python and TensorFlow.
• Design and execute data analysis projects to derive actionable insights from large datasets.
• Partner with data engineers to ensure data quality and availability for machine learning models.
• Apply statistical techniques to validate model performance and reliability.
• Develop clear and comprehensive documentation of models, algorithms, and data processes.
• Present findings and insights to stakeholders using visualization tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, and Plotly.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and apply them to improve existing processes.
• Collaborate with the ETL team to optimize data pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow and dbt.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Data Scientist working on complex projects.
• Strong expertise in machine learning and data science libraries: Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, and various ML models.
• Proficiency in programming languages and tools such as Python, R, and SQL.
• Experience with data analysis and manipulation libraries like Pandas and NumPy.
• Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and data warehousing solutions like Clickhouse, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Upper-Intermediate level of English.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud-based machine learning platforms.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like QlikView, Tableau, and Apache Superset.
• Understanding of CI/CD practices and tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and GitLab.
• Previous experience in developing algorithms for consumer and enterprise applications.
