Senior Data Scientist

About our Team: Our team is a diverse group of data scientists and research scientists who develop approaches to improve our software products and work with the engineering teams that build them. Our projects span a wide range of data science, machine learning and analytics methods and techniques. We support projects both early on in ideation and discovery as well as operationalizing data science, working with teams to develop and support data science services in production

About the Role: You will perform complex research, design, and development of data science projects to support the development of our applications.

Responsibilities
  • Understanding doctor, nurse, and patient information needs to design data science, data analytics and ML solutions to improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to operationalize models and analysis frameworks, putting data science into production
  • Contributing to a collaborative, inclusive working environment by supporting other team members, mentoring junior data scientists.
  • Fostering data science literacy/community, internal presentations/demos


Requirements
  • Experience with or enthusiasm to learn data engineering and software engineering principles to operationalize data science.
  • Collaborating and enjoy supporting, learning from, and sharing knowledge with a team of people from different backgrounds.
  • Advanced degree (MS or PhD) or bachelor's degree and equivalent experience in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Linguistics, or a related discipline.
