Unity Grow team builds advertising and personalized content delivery solutions used in hundreds of thousands of apps. Our platform processes extensive data sets that are used by machine learning systems living in the core of our various products. Different deep learning techniques are revolutionizing automated decision-making systems and Unity is riding the front wave. In Demand Performance, we develop groundbreaking machine learning centric products. They provide millions of predictions for recommendations each and every second to optimize efficiency and profitability of user acquisition advertising campaigns.

Today we are looking for a Senior Data Scientist who will shine in our outstanding team! You will be working on models and embeddings that will be used in Unity machine learning models, in particular, conversion (i.e. start-to-install) prediction models. You will contribute and take ownership of end-to-end machine learning pipelines and develop deep neural network models whose results will be used by other teams and what you deliver is an integral part of the whole Unity Grow product. We expect you to have the motivation and skills to translate the business problems as Machine Learning problems and apply those in a large scale production environment. What you'll be doing

• Work with a team to revolutionize personalization of user acquisition advertisement for mobile gaming
• Translate business problems into a design and implement advanced machine learning models and algorithms
• Develop deep learning and online personalized targeting solutions with tech stack of Python/Spark/Tensorflow/Pytorch on a large scale
• Form and validate hypotheses about model performance by conducting statistical experiments or A/B tests
• Contribute to the team roadmap once you get familiar with problems and opportunities presented to the team

What we're looking for

• Experience in machine learning model development using Tensorflow or PyTorch
• Deep understanding of machine learning & software engineering concepts, from concepts to implementation
• Capable of conducting analysis, statistics and data literacy to deduct where the challenges and opportunities lie
• Good communication skills to help collaboration with other data scientists, engineers and product managers

You might also have

• Experience in implementing varied data and machine learning based online decision-making systems on a large scale
• Experience in mobile advertisement, gaming, or online trading
