We are looking to recruit a Senior Data Scientist for our Kaggle team, who will be crucial in managing the publication and upkeep of machine learning and large language models (LLM).

The preferred candidate should possess a solid foundation in data science and machine learning, along with experience in handling large language models.

Responsibilities

• Publish machine learning and LLM models on Kaggle via APIs or manual methods
• Create educational materials such as detailed tutorials and interactive notebooks
• Work together on metrics and improve the model publishing workflow
• Keep abreast of new developments in machine learning models
• Assess and choose models for publication based on their performance and impact
• Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders to enhance the publishing workflow
• Track and optimize the performance of published models to satisfy user requirements
• Guide junior data scientists and head project teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in data science and machine learning
• Proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks like Keras, PyTorch, and Transformers
• Background in natural language processing, computer vision, and large language models
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Passion for data science with a strong desire for ongoing learning and development
• Proven track record of successfully deploying machine learning models
• Understanding of API development and model deployment
• Experience in managing large datasets and computational resources
• Capability to document and clarify complex models to non-expert stakeholders
• Experience in planning and maintaining project timelines and deliverables

Nice to have

• Prior experience with Kaggle for competitions, dataset exploration, or model engagement
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
