We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to become a key member of our Kaggle team, focusing on leading the publication and ongoing management of machine learning and large language models (LLM).

Responsibilities

• Publish machine learning and LLM models on Kaggle using APIs or manual methods
• Create educational materials, including step-by-step tutorials and interactive notebooks
• Work collaboratively on metrics to improve the model publishing workflow
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in machine learning models
• Assess and choose models for publication based on their performance and impact
• Interact with both internal and external stakeholders to enhance the publishing process
• Monitor and optimize the performance of published models to align with user requirements
• Provide mentorship to junior data scientists and lead project teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• Over 5 years of experience in data science and machine learning
• Proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks like Keras, PyTorch, and Transformers
• Background in natural language processing, computer vision, and large language models
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Independent and collaborative working capabilities
• Strong passion for data science with a commitment to continuous learning and development
• Demonstrated history of successful machine learning model deployment
• Understanding of API development and model deployment
• Knowledge of managing large datasets and computational resources
• Capability to document and explain complex models to non-expert stakeholders
• Qualifications in developing and maintaining project timelines and deliverables

Nice to have

• Previous engagement with Kaggle for competitions, dataset exploration, or model interaction
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities
