About the Role
As a Senior Data Scientist on our Safety Data Science team based in São Paulo, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing solutions that will enhance the safety of our platform. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about applying data science to real-world safety challenges and enjoys working closely with Business Specialists, Product Managers, Software Engineers and fellow Data Scientists, in problems reaching a global audience.

This role requires a strong analytical mindset, the ability to solve complex problems, influence product direction, optimize processes, and communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
What You'll Do
- Statistical Experimentation: Plan, Design and Analyze A/B tests and other experimentation methodologies to measure the impact of product features and initiatives, ensuring data quality, accurate measurements and statistical rigor.
- Data Analysis & Insights: Conduct exploratory data analysis, hypothesis testing, and build solutions to uncover actionable insights that will inform business strategies and product improvements.
- Collaborationc with Stakeholders: Partner with key stakeholders across the business to identify opportunities to leverage data to drive business solutions, and present complex findings in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders at all levels, translating technical analyses into strategic recommendations.
- Product Analytics: Work closely with product teams to define metrics, monitor key performance indicators, and provide data-driven recommendations that improve operational efficiency and process governance.
- Data Quality: Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and maintain data pipelines and dashboards that enable scalable analysis and reporting across the organization.
What You'll Need
- Experience: 5+ years in Data Science, with a strong foundation in A/B testing and statistical experimentation.
- Proficiency in SQL is essential; experience with Python, and familiarity with big data tools like Spark is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to various stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
