This role offers a unique opportunity to drive strategic decisions by applying advanced data science techniques to real-world business and product challenges. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to develop predictive models, generate actionable insights, and inform product and business strategy. The position involves both research and hands-on model development, from hypothesis generation to end-to-end implementation and monitoring. You will contribute to defining key metrics, improving experimentation, and enhancing data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role thrives on collaboration, critical thinking, and delivering measurable impact, while fostering a culture of analytical rigor and continuous learning. You will also mentor team members and help raise the overall data fluency of the organization, all within a fully remote, dynamic environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Partner with product, engineering, and business teams to identify high-value questions and generate actionable insights
  • Build, validate, and deploy predictive and statistical models that influence business outcomes and product decisions
  • Conduct research projects and data investigations to support strategic initiatives
  • Develop quantitative models to aid in forecasting, experimentation, and decision-making
  • Present data insights to executives and cross-functional stakeholders in a clear, actionable manner
  • Mentor colleagues in analytical methods and data science best practices
  • Contribute to the organization’s broader data culture and help establish scalable, rigorous analytics frameworks
  • Requirements:

    • 4–6 years of experience as a data scientist with a proven track record of driving business impact through data
    • Proficiency in Python (strongly preferred) and SQL for data analysis and model development
    • Experience building, validating, and deploying predictive or statistical models
    • Strong collaboration skills, with experience partnering across teams and presenting to executive leadership
    • Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations
    • Familiarity with machine learning engineering practices, experimentation, and modeling applied to product or business strategy
    • Experience in subscription, membership, or social platform analytics is a plus
