Senior Database Administrator

Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated Database Admin Engineer to be part of our Continuous Improvement Organization in Chelmsford, MA.

The individual should have a passion in database development. The individual will be working closely with business and technical teams on highly visible key initiatives. As part of the AD Federal Manufacturing organization, the Database Admin Engineer will partner with ADI's manufacturing and business unit teams to design, develop and implement robust Database and Software Systems Solutions that will effectively manage and improve manufacturing operations. The individual will be responsible for database administration, SQL support, SAP ERP and iBASEt Solumina MES support.

Functions of the Job:

• Build, test and maintain databases in SQL and SAP.
• Acquire datasets that align with business needs.
• Collaborate with various team and vendors, working hand in hand to provide solutions for internal as well as customer facing applications.

• Be a trusted technology advisor to the business to help select and deploy solutions to meet business needs.
• Collaborate with business groups, IT development teams, platform architecture teams and hosting service teams to ensure successful implementation of each solution.
• Work on a suite of apps to support the team, other cross functional teams, and vendors.
• Help build a productive environment where team members 'own' the product and enjoy working on it.
• Support deployed solutions.

The individual should be a self-starter, who works well in a cross-functional team environment.

Requirements - Minimum Qualifications of the Job:

• US Citizen.
• Able to obtain a DoD security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar STEM field.

• 2- 4 years of experience in Database administration.
• Experience with the design and modification of structures in a relational database environment such as SQL Server, T-SQL, MySQL, or Oracle Database.
• Experience with importing, manipulating, and extracting data in a relational database environment.
• Experience with Microsoft.NET and .NET Core technologies including Razor Pages, ASP, MVC, WinForms, and Web Services.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and ECC 6.0 ERP.

• Experience with iBASEt Solumina or other Manufacturing Execution Systems.
• Experience with web server administration in Internet Information Services (IIS).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and skilled at troubleshooting issues over multiple technical environments.
• Understanding of SOLID and OWASP security principals.
