Senior Database Engineer - Analytic Services

Belay Technologies is currently seeking a Senior Database Engineer (DBE). The DBE will be translating a set of requirements and data into a usable database schema by creating or recreating ad hoc queries, scripts and macros, updates existing queries, creates new ones to manipulate data into a master file. The DBE will also be supporting the database design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow and analysis activities. The DBE will support the development of long and short term requirements for database administration and design. The DBE will support the analysis and evaluation of system improvements, optimization, development and/or maintenance efforts. The DBE must have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience as a DBE, with a Bachelor's in a technical discipline.

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

• TS/SCI with polygraph is required.
• Ten (10) years' experience as a DBE in programs or in similar fields or scope, type, and complexity
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university

Candidates are required to have the following skills:

• Experience with the following is needed:
• Oracle with SQL92
• Sybase with SQL92
• Postgres with SQL92
• Mongo with mql
• Database schema changes (i.e. add columns,/tables, update/delete data)
• Transitioning databases to AWS would be a PLUS
