Senior Database Solutions Architect (Oracle Focus)

In this role, you will serve as a key technical advisor, bridging the gap between advanced database technologies and business needs for enterprise customers. You will work closely with clients to design and position robust data protection and management solutions across both on-premise and cloud environments. Acting as a trusted expert, you will lead technical discussions, deliver impactful demonstrations, and shape solution strategies that address complex database challenges. The position offers a strong blend of pre-sales engagement, architecture design, and cross-functional collaboration with product and engineering teams. You will also influence product evolution by sharing real-world insights and validating new features. • Act as a subject matter expert on database solutions, with a strong focus on Oracle environments across on-premise and cloud infrastructures
• Partner with sales teams to support pre-sales activities, aligning technical solutions with customer business objectives
• Lead product demonstrations, workshops, and technical presentations for both technical stakeholders and executive audiences
• Design and execute proof-of-concepts (POCs), ensuring successful validation of solutions in customer environments
• Translate complex customer requirements into scalable and secure technical architectures
• Contribute to proposals, RFPs, and technical documentation with high-quality, customer-focused content
• Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to provide feedback and influence product enhancements
• Stay up to date with industry trends in database technologies, cloud platforms, and data security to effectively position solutions
• Provide insights on competitive positioning and market trends based on customer interactions
• Support customers across North America, working in alignment with US Eastern Time Zone requirements

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, consulting, or solutions architecture roles focused on enterprise databases and cloud technologies
• Strong expertise in Oracle technologies such as RAC, ASM, Data Guard, GoldenGate, Exadata, and pluggable databases
• Experience designing and managing cloud-based database architectures across platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI
• Working knowledge of additional database systems such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, or similar technologies
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, Go, or JavaScript
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical challenges and design scalable, high-performance solutions
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical teams and executive stakeholders
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and product teams
• Self-driven and comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced environment with a high level of autonomy
• Willingness to travel occasionally for client engagements and technical workshops
