Senior Deployment Engineer

Who you are

We are seeking a Deployment Engineer to support the implementation of Copia’s DeviceLink product in industrial automation settings, including discrete manufacturing and material handling. This role is part of our Technical Services team, partnering with sales and customer success to accelerate time to value for our customers.

You’re interested in Copia’s mission (rebuilding manufacturing), you enjoy interacting with customers, and driving impact in a foundational industry. We’re looking for a strong contributor to the overall trajectory of the company.

You’re highly technical with specific experience in operational technology, specifically OT networks and controls engineering exposure, and you’re excited to share that knowledge with others. Bonus points if you’ve previously deployed cloud-based products to OT. You are at your best when you are helping others understand a complex problem. What You'll Do:

• Partner with the post-sales team to ensure timely and performant deployment of our DeviceLink solution
• Provide ongoing support to key clients who have deployed Copia DeviceLink
• Partner with the product and engineering team for custom integration requirements
• Strategize with clients on best-practices for securing OT networks while providing data and code access
• Travel up to 25% to support customers on-site

What You'll Need:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
• Depth of experience with PLCs and Industrial Automation
• Strong troubleshooting skills across software, hardware, and network components to ensure high availability and performance of deployed solutions and to quickly identify and resolve issues
• 5+ years of OT networking experience, with a high degree of understanding of the Purdue model and related OT network architectures
• 2+ years experience with project management on complex projects or deploymentsHighly motivated with a track record of pursuing ambitious goals least one generalizable programming language such as SQL or Python
• Experience with at least one generalizable programming language such as SQL or Python
