Senior Design Drafter/PDM Administrator

As a CAD Designer:

• Responsible for the creation and maintenance of technical documentation for new products and changes to existing products that Phillips & Temro Industries offer.
• Works closely with Product Development, Project and Product Engineers to ensure that product design intent is appropriately documented and controlled using established drawing creation, BOM, up-date and control procedures.
• Assists in the development of improvements to document and data control methods and facilitates their implementation.
• In-depth knowledge of 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks & Creo
• Part modeling and detailing experience using 2-D and 3-D CAD
• Maintains Engineering documents such as drawings, part and assembly files and data from a control standpoint.
• Works with and understands PDM/PLM systems, preferably PTC Windchill.
• Maintain product libraries and drawings including updates, revisions and engineering change notice (ECNs)
• Ensure CAD designs meet current PTI and international standards.
• Maintains and adequate knowledge of the CAD System as the revision level of the software or hardware changes.
• Work both independently and collaborate within a team environment
• Performs other related duties as assigned or required.

As a Windchill Administrator:

• The ideal candidate needs to have at least 2+ years of experience in Windchill system administration
• Experience with managing users/groups/product families and permissions
• Support upgrades, enhancements, and expansion of Windchill PLM capabilities and related PTC modules (Change management, license servers, ThingWorx etc.)
• Doc/Part/BOM management, version control, change management and file vault configurations
• Broad understanding of change management application framework in Windchill
• Hands-on experience working in various OS environments (Windows/Linux) and basic knowledge of SQL
• Experience using CAD tools, such as Creo, Solidworks, AutoCad, Altium designer etc.
• Document systems configurations and procedures, develop robust testing processes, scripts, and/or other procedures to ensure operational excellence of the Windchill environment
• ECAD and MCAD data collaboration and management
• Mentor and train other team members on Windchill best practices
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve issues and make recommendations
• Work with software technical support, account management consultants to resolve technical issues

Minimum Qualifications:

• AA Degree or equivalent
• 7+ years CAD design experience
• 2+ years Windchill admin experience
