Senior Design Engineer

Role Summary:
Flowserve Corporation is a public, multi-national company engaged in the engineering, manufacturing, and servicing of advanced technology fluid handling and control equipment in a variety of markets worldwide. The products of the company include pumps, valves, mechanical seals, and related services. We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer for the preparation and execution of complete valve design, machining drawings and calculations of "Trunnion mounted ball valves" for the following categories:

• Side Entry – Bolted body and welded body
• Top Entry
• Rising Stem
• Control ball valves
• Through conduit parallel Slab Gate

The person will also provide support to all the other engineering facilities along the organization for the same product families.

Activities & Responsibilities:  

• Preparation of valve assemblies and machining drawings

• Cooperation with supervisor and engineering manager.

• Technical evaluation of standard and customer specifications

• Executions of design deliverables in compliance with quality standards and Quality system

• Capability to analyze and review customer specifications

• Cooperate with production and other department in the organization

• Cooperate with other site for the Valbart products

• Enterprise mindset and willingness to go above and behind customer expectations

Education & Work experiences:

• Graduated in Mechanical Engineering or having a technical diploma in mechanical field

• Experience of minimum 5 years in Ball Valve design

• Good knowlegde of softwares like Autocad, Solidworks and Ansys

• Experience in same industry

Transversal Skills:

• Good organizational skills

• Ability to relate to others

• Ability to relate to people outside the company

• Good knowledge of English and Italian
