Job Description Summary

Works with cross-functional teams to create designs and technical drawings for complex state-of-the-art healthcare products / systems. Work closely with engineers to create new product design & improve existing products, manufacturing systems or processes.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Collaborate cross-functionally with many areas of GE Healthcare
• Able to balance and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong detailing and checking ability
• Develop relationships and multitask
• Outstanding problem solving skills
• Ability to present ideas and results effectively

Required Qualifications

• Associates degree in Engineering Technology discipline or related discipline.
• 5 years experience in a product development environment.
• Proficiency in CREO / Windchill, and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary environment
• Experience creating 3D models, sketch & draw up designs using input / concepts from engineers
• Demonstrated proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing.
• Ability to communicate with cross-functional teams, with individuals at all levels within the organization
• Experience with machined, cast, stamped, welded, injection molded, and sheet metal parts.
• Keen attention to detail
• Able to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively
• Experience modifying existing parts / specifications in accordance with engineering change requests, participate in drawing reviews and record & modify needed changes
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this position.
• Must be able to work onsite daily at our Milwaukee, WI location.

• Experience with PCB, PCBA, and cabling drawings and assemblies
