Job Description:

• Work with Samsung’s team of designers and developers to prototype novel applications and user experiences for Samsung’s next generation of electronic products.
• Utilize skills typography, color layout and composition, and user-interface/user-experience design to transform product specifications into tangible usable design features.
• Explore new use cases for emerging technologies from a design perspective and utilize design architecture to produce influential stories that will be applied to Samsung’s device user-experiences.
• Work with the design team to share design ideas with project stakeholders and apply novel/emerging design technologies to developing electronic product schemes.
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop and produce working user-interface models using print media and digital web-based media.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Graphic Design, a related field, or a foreign equivalent plus 2 years of post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or related.
• Applicants must have 2 years of experience with the following:
  • Multidisciplinary UX and product teams (motion, interaction, UX research, engineering, content strategy) on technical implementation;
  • Designing for multiple mediums including web, mobile, tv and print (brochures, banners, posters, and postcards;
  • Adobe Creative Suite of tools including: Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign;
  • Leading design from ideation/brainstorming through wireframing to final design;
  • Working with raw data to create data visualization.
