Senior Designer, Digital

About You

We are looking for a Senior Digital Designer  to join the Nutrafol Creative team and help define the way we show up in the world : elevated, minimalist and human centric. Ideally, you have experience in both the agency space as well as in-house, specifically in growing and disruptive companies. You are a designer’s designer, passionate about UI/UX and human-centric design. Success in this role means being focused and collaborative: you will be responsible for marrying strategy, customer journey, and brand goals to create and evolve the Nutrafol digital space, specifically in the e-commerce channel.

Reporting to the Design Director and working closely with the cross-functional partners (marketing, digital experience, growth, tech ) you will be a key stakeholder in bringing the digital brand experience to life on the website. You will collaborate closely with the copy team and external agencies when needed. 

Responsibilities

• Working with the Creative Director, create inventive solutions in all aspects of the digital ecosystem, focusing on the digital space, specifically in the e-commerce channel.
• Balance exceptional creative and relevant business needs.
• Comprehend guidelines, campaigns, brand and category assets and produce effective brand communication.
• Collaborate with the marketing team and internal and external designers to ensure the creation and delivery of tailored experiences for the digital user.
• Create impeccably designed and visually stunning work across a  variety of channels.
• Clearly and concisely express yourself and have a clear, thought-out rationale for your creative ideas.
• Be a brand keeper and take responsibility for quality control in all the work you execute or supervise.
• Be able to manage the work flow and ask for resources as needed.
• Establish project cadences, review timelines, and a design process that works for both the creative team and marketing stakeholders
• Be the conduit between the creative team and other cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience on a design or brand creative team
• Mastery of UX/UI concepts and methodology
• Strategic, thoughtful, and human-centric approach to design and branding
• Appetite for problem-solving 
• Conceptual thinking is a must, we need someone who can problem solve and bring new ideas to the table
• Great communication and storytelling skills, both verbal and written
• Strong project management and organization skills
• Strong knowledge of digital commerce, user-experience and social media platforms
• Incredible design skills, including hands-on experience with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
• An obsession for pixel perfect designs
