Job Responsibilities: What you will do

Perform deployment and/or scaling for complex products as directed by leadership.

• Participate in deployment and configuration of the application as needed.
• Participate in deployment meetings and consult with team to refine, test, and debug programs to meet technical needs.
• Contribute to build processes for multiple concurrent releases.
• Automate build and deployment process through build system.
• Collaborate with dev teams re-engineer their applications into container based solutions.
• Collaborate with dev teams to bring code in alignment with standards to allow for easier automation.
• Validate automation deployments for container orchestration.
• Collaborate with application development and/or infrastructure teams to configure continuous integration build system.
• Develop proof of concepts and propose solutions to leadership.
• Support operationally critical environment and use monitoring tools and scripts, data feeds and associated scripts.
• Assist in server patching activities.
• Participate in application load tests and assisting with troubleshooting.
• Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.

Qualifications: What you need to bring

• 5+ years experience in IT Infrastructure and/or Application Development required.
• Previous experience with code repos, pipeline creation, app deployment, CI/CD, (GitLab) required.
• Previous experience with containers (Docker) and kubernetes (OpenShift) required.
• Knowledge of server administration (VMware / RHEL) required.
• Bachelors in Computer and Information Science, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Report generation
• Mathematical, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to interpret user needs and translate into system requirements.
• Ability to understand system data and to identify discrepancies
• Previous knowledge of system analytics helpful
