CDPHP is looking for a motivated DevOps Engineer to help define, build, and support the infrastructure, tools, and processes needed to empower development teams to operate at scale. Be part of a team that enables shorter development cycles, increased product deployment efficiency, higher quality deployments, in close alignment with business objectives. Advocate and enable automation and monitoring at all steps of product development. Close collaboration with IT teams along with knowledge of, and ability to learn, new and existing technologies is key to success in the role.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degrees in Computer Science, Systems or Electrical Engineering, or Information Systems preferred; 4 years relevant experience may be substituted for a degree
• Minimum number years of relevant experience: 7
• Experience with the installation, configuration, management and operations of enterprise systems and environments is required
• Experience administering and configuring operating systems (Linux & Windows), virtualization and cloud technologies is preferred
• Linux server administration
• Proficient with container technologies (eg. Docker, Kubernetes)
• In-depth knowledge of build/release and CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, Chef, Sonarqube, Nexus or uDeploy
• Excellent Python, bash, Groovy or Ruby scripting fundamentals is preferred
• Working knowledge of AWS compute, storage, and network concepts
• Experience with Operational Tools (Event Monitoring/Alerting, logging, ITSM) is preferred
• Thorough knowledge of enterprise SDLC processes, tools and practices is required
• Strong written and verbal communications, and commitment to document and communicate derived knowledge
• Strong analytic skills for determining essential characteristics of issues and devising effective solutions
• Ability to translate application requirements into engineered solutions
• Hands-on experience or familiarity with contemporary technologies, including but not limited to, web-services (SOAP or REST), WebSphere, Tomcat, TomEE, IIS, Oracle, SQLServer, MySQL, Redshift, open-sources technologies
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Leadership skills and the ability to lead development teams
