Senior Developer

ECS is seeking a Senior Developer to work in our Arlington, VA office / remote.

Job Description:

We are currently seeking an organized and detailed oriented Senior Developer to join our team. The Senior Developer will work with agile scrum teams to help develop and implement PowerApps tool to support automation and reporting for the Department of Homeland Security. This team member will be a part of a new team setup by ECS to identify DHS process that can be improved through low code/no code tools to provide value to the customer quickly. This team will engage with the existing unclassified cloud infrastructure team to deploy enterprise solutions that can be used by multiple clients.

About the Job

• Implement PowerApps, Power Automate, and/or Power BI in a cloud environment for use by DHS.
• Provide technical expertise related to the Microsoft Power Platform to ensure the client is getting the best products necessary.
• Develop applications that integrate with web services or other applications.
• Perform unit testing, performance testing, and create automated testing.
• Perform administration, maintenance, and development tasks for the Power Platform.
• Work with internal team and external clients to understand requirements.
• Provide training and support to other team members.
• Review business needs and provide recommendations on tool selection.
• Proactively identify opportunities to integrate new and existing toolsets to improve automation.
• Work in an Agile team setting and use Atlassian suite for task tracking and documentation.
• Review team members code, architecture, and documentation to provide feedback.
• Create system design documents and architectures.
• Work with the security team to address security findings and mitigate.

Required Skills:

• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
• Bachelor's degree.
• 8 years development experience.
• 5 years experience with Microsoft PowerApps.
• Azure experience.
• Power Automate experience.
• Power BI experience.
• SharePoint Experience.
• Dynamics Experience.

Desired Skills:

• Highly experienced with PowerApps, Automate, and O365 tools and how they work together.
• Familiar with agile concepts.
• Team player focused.
• Experienced with SharePoint Online and Teams.
• Experience with AWS cloud implementation.
• .NET Development experience.
• Experience with additional analytics or automation tools (Tableau, UiPath, ServiceNow, etc.) a plus.
• Experience with federal acquisition, budget, and/or PPBE lifecycle a plus.
• Jira experience a plus.
