JOB DUTIES
Senior Developers for Chicago, IL location. Enable new application features and optimize strategic analytics platforms. Deploy and implement leading-edge analytics environments including software, end-user tools and other data services. Design and develop tools and services enabling end-user productivity and system integrations. Assist in innovation activities such as research, evaluations, and prototyping. Develop unit and integration test cases and perform end to end testing of applications. Attend daily scrum calls and provide work status updates to other agile team members. Tune and optimize existing applications across the full development stack. Collaborate with product owners and team members on requirements and implementation approaches for addressing demand and challenges. Create technical architecture and technical process documentation. Technical environment: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Java, Linux, shell scripting, Agile (Scrum) SDLC, relational databases, CI/CD environments, Teamcity, Jenkins, Automation, Angular 8, React, NPM, CSS3, Bootstrap, jQuery, Git, RESTful API, TFS, Jasmine, Jest, SASS, PostgreSQL, Spring Boot.
Education and Experience Requirements
*Master's degree in Computer Science, Digital Sciences or related field plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or in software architecture/design required. Required skills: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Java, Linux, shell scripting, Agile (Scrum), relational databases, CI/CD environments, Teamcity, Automation, React, NPM, CSS3, Bootstrap, jQuery, Git, RESTful API, TFS. 20% telecommuting permitted. (*Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Digital Sciences or related field plus 5 years of progressive experience in the job offered or in software architecture/design also acceptable.)
