Senior Development Manager for Salesforce Analytics
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Development Manager for Salesforce Analytics to lead our team in leveraging Salesforce's analytics capabilities to drive data-driven decision-making and insights. As the Senior Development Manager for Salesforce Analytics, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of analytical solutions on the Salesforce platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements, drive analytics initiatives, and optimize Salesforce's analytical capabilities to support our organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Salesforce analytics team: Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to a team of analytics professionals specializing in Salesforce. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
- Strategic planning and solution design: Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to define the strategic direction of Salesforce analytics. Identify key business challenges and opportunities where Salesforce analytics can provide actionable insights.
- Salesforce analytics implementation: Oversee the design, development, and deployment of analytical solutions on the Salesforce platform, leveraging tools such as Einstein Analytics, Tableau CRM, and other Salesforce analytics offerings.
- Data modeling and integration: Work closely with data engineers and architects to design and optimize data models, ensuring seamless integration between Salesforce and other data sources. Develop data pipelines and ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data for analysis.
- Analytical insights and reporting: Drive the creation and delivery of insightful reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Salesforce analytics tools. Enable stakeholders to make informed decisions by providing actionable insights and KPI tracking.
- Technical leadership: Stay up to date with the latest advancements in Salesforce analytics tools and technologies. Provide technical guidance and ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills and resources to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Project management: Develop project plans, set priorities, and manage resources effectively to deliver Salesforce analytics projects on time and within budget. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Collaboration and communication: Cultivate strong partnerships with stakeholders, including business leaders, Salesforce administrators, and IT teams. Effectively communicate complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics).
- Proven experience 2 - 5 years in a managerial role leading analytics teams with a focus on Salesforce analytics.
Technical Skills:
- Extensive experience with Salesforce analytics tools, such as Einstein Analytics (Wave Analytics) and Tableau CRM (formerly Einstein Discovery).
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data architecture, objects, and data modeling best practices.
- Proficiency in data analysis, visualization, and reporting using Salesforce analytics tools and SQL.
- Salesforce certifications: Salesforce certifications related to analytics, such as Salesforce Certified Analytics Cloud Consultant or Salesforce Certified Tableau CRM Consultant, are preferred.
- Business acumen: Demonstrated ability to align Salesforce analytics initiatives with business objectives and drive measurable impact. Experience working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment with a focus on delivering actionable insights
