We are currently looking to fill a Senior Development Operations Engineer position working in a hybrid model 2-3 days per week from our Corporate Office in Peachtree Corners, GA

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Spearheads the automation of configuration management, deployment and maintenance activities across all development, QA, and production environments as well as the automation of CI/CD pipelines
  • Designs strategies and develops automation scripts and solutions for the purpose of streamlining, implementing, testing sites/software and incorporating the user feedback into the designs or scripts
  • Implements automation tools and frameworks for monitoring various environments for bottlenecks and other production issues as well as maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Manages the tools, code, and modules for the purpose of streamlining implementation and supportability
  • Keeps up with industry best practices and trends and takes advantage by utilizing them in our development
  • Conducts research, tests, and implements new metrics collection systems that can be reused and applied to any site/software development project
  • Applies AWS/Azure administration/automation skills to deploy new servers, services, upgrades, and fixes
  • Participates in promoting the product patches from one environment to another in our Datacenter during afterhours to minimize the disruption to our customers
  • Troubleshoots production issues and coordinates with development/QA teams to streamline code deployment
  • Conducts systems tests for security, performance, and availability as needed

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in IT Development and/or IT Operations
  • 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or equivalent software-engineering role
  • An expert in code deployment tools (i.e. Ansible, CodeDeploy, GitLab, MS Powershell)
  • An expert in Linux server administration and shell scripting (bash, python, etc.)
  • Experience in setting up and maintaining Kubernetes clusters
  • Experience in network, server, and application-status monitoring
  • Strong command of software-automation production systems (i.e. GitHub, Azure Devops, Team City, etc.)
  • Four-year college degree or equivalent

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of credit union and/or banking industry a plus
  • Working knowledge of GitHub, Confluence and Azure DevOps
  • Experience working on a Scrum team
