We are seeking aSenior DevOps Engineerwith a unique blend of development, security, and operations expertise to join our team and ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of our SaaS and AI/ML-driven solutions within healthcare settings. We are SOC2 TYPE 2 and HIPPA complaint and working to gain HIGHTRUST. the ability to play a key role in shaping the company's future. Key Responsibilities DevSecOps Practices • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for secure and efficient software deployment. • Automate repetitive tasks such as patch management, vulnerability scanning, and compliance checks. • Embed security policies into development workflows to ensure secure coding practices. Infrastructure Security • Secure cloud and on-premises infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible. • Configure secure storage, networking, and identity management in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Cloud). • Manage robust authentication and authorization systems (IAM), SSO, Auth0. Monitoring and Incident Response • Implement monitoring tools to detect anomalies and potential security breaches. • Collaborate with security teams to quickly respond to incidents and mitigate threats. Container and Application Security • Secure Docker images and Kubernetes clusters against vulnerabilities. • Implement runtime security tools to protect containerized applications. Compliance and Auditing • Ensure processes comply with standards like HIPAA, GDPR, FHIR, HL7, or ISO 27001. • Automate audits and maintain logs for forensic analysis and regulatory reporting. Cloud Security • Leverage AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS to build secure and scalable solutions. • Optimize cloud infrastructure for AI/ML applications and secure data handling in the healthcare sector. Development Collaboration • Work closely with development teams on React JS and TypeScript applications. • Contribute to database design, optimization, and software architecture. • Support mobile app development for iOS and Android platforms. Threat Modeling and Penetration Testing • Simulate real-world attack scenarios to identify vulnerabilities using tools like Metasploit, Burp Suite, or Nessus. • Provide recommendations for remediation and improving security posture. Required Skills and Qualifications • AWS Certified Solutions Architect • Strong proficiency in AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS). • Experience in AI/ML and healthcare solutions. • Solid understanding of software architecture and design principles. • Experience with database design and optimization. • Proven experience in SaaS development and deployment. • Experience in mobile app development for iOS and Android platforms. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Good to have: • Knowledge of healthcare standards like FHIR and HL7. • CISSP Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $105,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year Benefits: • Health insurance • Paid time off • Relocation assistance Compensation Package: • 1099 contract • Employee stock ownership plan • Performance bonus • Stock options License/Certification: • AWS Certification (Preferred) Location: • Glendale, CA 91209 (Required) Ability to Commute: • Glendale, CA 91209 (Required) Ability to Relocate: • Glendale, CA 91209: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
