Senior DevOps Engineer
Job Description
- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab to streamline application development and deployment.
- Manage and configure repositories, branching strategies, and code versioning in GitLab and Azure Repos.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or ARM templates.
- Monitor and improve system reliability, performance, and scalability in cloud and hybrid environments.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
- Implement robust security measures, including role-based access control and secure code practices, in Azure DevOps and GitLab environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development pipelines, environments, and deployments.
- Support containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes to manage microservices.
- Maintain detailed documentation of processes, configurations, and best practices.
- Continuously evaluate emerging DevOps tools and methodologies to improve workflows.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with expertise in Azure DevOps and GitLab.
- Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, YAML configurations, and release management.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Grafana, or Prometheus.
- Knowledge of software development life cycles and Agile methodologies.
- Certifications in Azure DevOps or related technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert) are a plus.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Preferred Tools:
- Experience with GitOps practices and tools.
- Familiarity with cloud cost optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of database deployment and management using CI/CD tools.
