Senior DevOps Engineer

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you manage the establishment and configuration of infrastructure in an agile way by storing infrastructure as code and employing automated configuration management tools with a goal to be able to re-provision environments at any point in time.  You will leverage your knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes to optimize build and deployment processes.  Additionally, you will support engineering teams by building custom tooling and training engineering teams on DevOps best practices, processes and methods. You find great excitement and passion in being challenged; are able to find, evaluate, and leverage new technologies; have a love for solving complex problems; and are energized by making customers successful.

• 5+ years of professional experience in a similar role
• Solid understanding of public cloud providers, AWS preferred
• Experience with containerization and Kubernetes or Fargate/Lambdas
• Experience with monitoring, analysis, and alerting tools
• Good understanding of networking, routing, firewalls, VPN, SSL
• Programming/Scripting languages (Go, Python, Bash, JavaScript) used in DevOps life cycles
• Deep working knowledge of version control (git) and CI/CD tools (CircleCI, Gitlab-CI)
• Keen attention to detail and industry best practices pertaining to privacy and security
• Skill and comfort working in a rapidly moving startup environment with dynamic objectives and iteration with users

• Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for government clearances

• Experience with AWS Cloud Native Technologies (AWS Lambda, CDK, Fargate etc.)
• Experience with asynchronous processing and/or data streaming technologies, such as AWS Kinesis, Kafka, or ZeroMQ
• Familiar with building data platforms, microservices, distributed systems
• Experience with Government security configurations such as STIGs and NIST
• Enjoys working with a diverse group of people with different expertise
• Early-stage data-centric startup experience
