Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer.
Our client is a leading cloud contact center platform offering advanced tools for call routing, analytics, and automation. It enhances customer service, increases efficiency, and supports seamless omnichannel interactions, empowering businesses to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Terraform. Proficiency in scripting (Bash/Python) and the ability to troubleshoot performance issues at the operating system level, including drilling into processes and threads to resolve issues, are essential. The role involves assisting DevOps teams in pre-production staging, environmental setup, configuration, and documentation, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Linux-based systems, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security.
• Design, implement, and manage scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with Ansible and Terraform.
• Write and maintain custom scripts (Bash/Python) to automate workflows and improve system efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues at the OS level, including process and thread-level analysis.
• Assist DevOps teams with pre-production staging, environmental setup, and configuration.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continually improve the infrastructure and processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with strong Linux expertise.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP); familiarity with other cloud providers is a plus.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible.
• Expertise in infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python.
• In-depth understanding of OS-level performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have:

• Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
