What you'll do:

• Deliver High-Impact Solutions: Design, build, and maintain large-scale, highly available, and secure AWS-based systems tailored to business needs.
• Automate for Efficiency: Build robust CI/CD pipelines and streamline developer workflows with tools and processes that make provisioning and deployments seamless and repeatable.
• Optimise Performance: Manage infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness across the board.
• Champion Security: Develop and advocate for processes to secure sensitive data, intellectual property, and systems while maintaining compliance.
• Disaster-Proof Systems: Create and maintain disaster recovery processes that ensure the quick and complete restoration of critical systems.
• Monitor and Maintain: Proactively monitor systems to identify and resolve issues before they impact users.
• Developer Productivity - Enable the Engineering team to be efficient and productive through the timely delivery of repeatable and testable provisioning and deployment processes and tools.
• Mentorship and Coaching - Provide mentorship and coaching on DevOps practices, helping team members embrace best practices for automation, scalability, and system reliability. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by sharing knowledge, guiding teams and ensuring alignment with industry standards.

What you'll need:

• Cloud Expertise: Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining scalable AWS environments.
• CI/CD: Strong skills in building secure, performant CI/CD pipelines.
• Vendor Collaboration: Experience working with third-party solutions to enhance infrastructure capabilities.
• Security: A deep understanding of implementing secure systems, processes, and data management.
• Software Engineering Practices: A strong passion for software engineering practices and quality. An understanding of fundamental engineering principles and a mindset for quality excellence will set you up for success.
