About our Team: Technology Infrastructure and Operations team supporting, designing, migrating, and implementing products globally focusing on Health Education products

About the Role: Assist in the design of a functional and maintainable platform as well as help to develop our core team. You will deliver highly available platform for software solutions while collaborating with our larger Technology team globally.

Responsibilities

• Building and maintain the right cloud infrastructure architecture, balancing performance and resilience with cost in both pre-production and production environments.
• Building and maintaining a set of tools that enable developers to self-serve for most operational tasks
• Defining, and building enterprise platform tools
• Overseeing the day to day remediation of critical issues and building processes and efficiencies to eliminate the recurrence of issue.
• Participating in on-call rotation for off hours support of production systems

Requirements

• Demonstrate professional experience with Amazon Web Services. Specifically running applications in a fault tolerant, multiple Availability Zone configuration
• Understand Internet networking and DNS
• Show knowledge of Terraform in an enterprise environment, module creation and use
• Have a background with Continuous Integration systems such as Hudson/Jenkins
• Ability to work on several work streams with excellent time management
• Able to formulate and execute solutions to take into consideration the needs of multiple stakeholders
• A positive, constructive approach with an emphasis on collaboration and good execution
• Able to mentor and lead other members of the team
• Experience developing and maintaining security compliant environments focusing on HIPAA and GDPR policies and procedures.
