Senior DevOps Engineer

The Senior DevOps Engineer plays a critical role in leading the setup, deployment, and optimization of NGDATA’s SaaS solutions. This role is vital for ensuring successful implementation and integration of technologies, enhancing client satisfaction, and driving high-quality service delivery. The position directly contributes to the organization’s goal of delivering personalized, data-driven experiences through effective cloud and data management.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Main responsibilities

• Lead the setup and deployment of SaaS solutions, ensuring alignment with client needs
• Manage cloud-based infrastructure and services across AWS
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and integrate software components
• Create and maintain documentation for system configurations and best practices
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities

Additional / occasional tasks

• Participate in client meetings and provide technical insights
• Conduct training sessions or workshops for clients on system usage and best practices

Leadership Workload

• This position involves approximately 20% leadership tasks, including mentoring junior team members and leading implementation projects, with the remaining 80% focused on technical tasks.

Competence Profile

Background / Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred

Experience / Skill Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in DevOps roles with experience in SaaS implementations and cloud solutions
• Hands-on experience with AWS
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with site reliability engineering
