Senior Devops Engineer

R&D – Onit – Pune, Maharashtra, India – Full Time

As DevOps Engineer, you will be immersed in all aspects of DevOps, the AWS Cloud, and beyond. You will have a wide variety of problems to solve, from supporting and building out CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure provisioning, and improving the scalability and reliability of our applications running in the cloud.  

The Role

• Develop, maintain, and update infrastructure as code using Terraform to automate the provisioning, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructure.
• Write automation scripts in Python to enhance the efficiency and reliability of DevOps processes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot the infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security of the cloud environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement DevOps best practices and methodologies.
• Continuously evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve our infrastructure and automation processes.
• Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure and processes.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.

Mandatory Skills:

• At least 6 years of experience in a DevOps role.
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Strong Python skills for scripting and automation.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Experience with containerization and container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Datadog, Prometheus and ELK stack.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
