Senior DevOps Engineer

This role offers the opportunity to join a globally distributed engineering team building and scaling infrastructure for high-traffic digital platforms operating across multiple regions. You will play a key role in designing resilient cloud-native architectures, improving deployment pipelines, and strengthening platform reliability at scale. The environment is highly dynamic, remote-first, and engineering-driven, with strong emphasis on automation, security, and operational excellence. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to evolve Kubernetes-based systems and establish best practices in infrastructure as code and GitOps. This position is ideal for an experienced DevOps professional who enjoys solving complex scalability challenges and shaping platform engineering standards. Your work will directly impact system stability, developer productivity, and global product performance.

• Design, develop, and scale Infrastructure as Code using Terraform with a modular, layered architecture (foundation, platform, workloads).
• Build and maintain standardized CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps using YAML-first, reusable templates and automation best practices.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes environments (AKS), including lifecycle operations, upgrades, reliability, and performance tuning.
• Implement and promote GitOps practices with PR-driven workflows and a single source of truth for infrastructure and deployments.
• Strengthen platform security through secretless authentication, least-privilege access models, and Azure Key Vault integration.
• Drive observability and automation initiatives using monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog and LGTM stack.
• Contribute to engineering excellence through code reviews, mentoring, and sharing DevOps best practices across teams.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure as a primary cloud platform, including multi-subscription environments.
• Proven production experience with Kubernetes, ideally in multi-environment, SLA-driven systems.
• At least 2+ years of experience building and maintaining Terraform-based infrastructure using modular and scalable architectures.
• Strong expertise in Azure DevOps pipelines with YAML-first and reusable template approaches.
• Solid experience with Helm, GitOps workflows, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Experience in mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, and sharing technical knowledge within teams.
• Proven experience in production on-call rotations and incident response management.
• Ability to thrive in low-process environments and establish structure and best practices from the ground up.
• Strong ownership mindset, proactive attitude, and high level of engineering maturity.
