What you'll do

• Develop and provide support on automation for an assigned set of applications or system elements specifically:

  • Critical automations that enhance the productivity of our Engineering teams

  • Building monitoring dashboards and their underlying data collection

• Assist with project definition scoping resource planning execution risk assessment change control and monitoring.

• Perform infrastructure installation setup administration and automated deployments.

• Collaborate with other engineers and cross-functional technical team members to resolve platform issues.

• Implement monitoring and alerting for applications and infrastructure including monitoring dashboards

What you'll bring

• Desire to be part of a talented and motivated team of engineers.

• Proficiency in Python and one or more other modern programming languages.

• Experience with data sources (RDS/Couch/Mongo/NoSQL).

• Experience with data warehouses such as Snowflake or Salesforce.

• Proven experience in cloud environments (AWS and GCP preferred).

• Experience in Major incident management and change management transformations

• Excellent communication skills including writing speaking and listening.

• A strong desire to learn build and grow.

• Ability to:

  • Apply analytical skills to evaluate and interpret technical and system problems.

  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative information.

  • Work effectively with technical and non-technical people.

  • Handle software system infrastructure tasks from requirements to production.

• Desire to understand and gain expert knowledge of Vonage products and services.

What's required for application

• Prior experience (at least 5 years) in a DevOps Engineering or related position.
