The Platform Services team is a strategic part of the Global Technology Platform at TransUnion that utilize technologies that will enable us to process our massive volumes, and we are seeking someone who has significant hands-on experience in utilizing a variety of technologies in the pursuit of delivering services that are highly performant and scalable, and have done so utilizing the underlying principles of a microservice architecture and using cloud patterns.

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in development of highly performant services/microservices, ideally at an enterprise level.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, advanced degrees preferred.
• Should have a strong hands on experience with any one of the gateways Layer7, Kong, Apigee, Mulesoft.
• Strong Knowledge in Containers
• Strong Knowledge in Kubernetes
• Experience with AWS or Azure.
• Good understanding and experience with Design patterns, with Cloud and Microservice Design patterns being preferred.
• Should have completed AWS Certified Solution Architect Associate, AWS Certified Security - Specialty certificates or similar.

• Work with the Architects, Product and Development teams on the design / processes
• Participate in the entire System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for project delivery and system support tasks
• Be a good team member, solve whatever problems (technical or non-technical) the team encountering.
• Analyze, evaluate, modify new/existing programs and systems
• Learn new technology from the market, and bring its benefit to the team.
• Contribute to design and develop on digital transformation initiatives, modernizing existing platform to a modernized (e.g. Microservices) enterprise architecture
• Work with both local and Onsite development teams in driving the SDLC development process

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
