Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to oversee our application in maintenance mode, focusing on AWS infrastructure, DevOps practices, and security. This role requires collaboration with the development team for software upgrades and ensuring operational, security, and performance standards. This person will be reviewing, implementing, and designing solutions in that align with best practices. This position will be responsible for organizing and delivering the day-to-day demands of the business (New development like Enhancements and new features and production support) supporting the application end-to-end.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide development and operational support of applications on the Salesforce platform for our Specialist Management Solutions team
• Be able to participate in all stages of the product life cycle (Development, Introduction, Growth, Maturity, and Decline) for the applications and system
• Manage AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, Beanstalk) and maintain our CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI
• Manage Identity Management for User Access to resources
• Manage Bastion developer access
• Manage Ubuntu operating system upgrades
• Collaborate with the development team for software upgrades, including security package updates across our PHP, Python, Angular stack
• Monitor application performance and security with Sentry and AWS CloudWatch
• Document DevOps processes and contribute to troubleshooting and incident resolution
• Manage Web Application Firewall (WAF) and Port Access
• Manage intrusion detection and other security related processes
• Maintain all infrastructure in a HIPAA Compliant way
• Maintaining product consistency with performance, functionality, physical attributes, and the overall user experience. Personalizing the requirements, design, and functionality to meet business needs
• Creating processes, procedures, and documentation necessary to operate efficiently for the platform & application
• Design solutions that leverage best practices and introduce new technologies when necessary
• Offer solutions within the platform that ensures the system will be highly functional, scalable, and easily maintained
• Collaborating with other IT teams, including but not limited to Architecture, PMO, EOS & Data Services in delivering optimal solutions to the business
• Ability to work and deliver on initiatives, with minimal supervision

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer science Engineering or other Engineering and, IT, or equivalent experience
• Expertise in AWS, CI/CD (GitLab CI, Jenkins), and security best practices
• Experience with Sentry, software stack security upgrades, and AWS monitoring tools
  Experience operating HIPAA compliant infrastructures
• Experience with estimating work effort and assigning tasks aligning with the individual skill sets of each teammate
• Experience with systems (scoping, configuring, implementing, training, etc.)
• Experience in developing integrations, REST API, SOAP and web development
• Solid problem-solving skills and ability to work closely with development teams
• Expert in AWS administration and business operations along with a good understanding of Information Technology operations
• Good interpersonal, leadership, collaboration, facilitation skills and the ability to negotiate and influence effective outcomes and drive results
• Ability to provide documentation to others that is clear, concise, and has valid business requirements
• Able to clearly explain Salesforce issues in a way that that non-technical people can understand
  Comfortable with giving and receiving constructive and critical feedback on a regular basis

• Working knowledge of and in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with Teams
• Proven proactive, decisive, action-oriented individual

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in working with other cloud technologies like Azure and Salesforce
• Experience in healthcare industry
• Familiarity with general healthcare industry regulatory requirements
