You will be joining the Referral Platform tech community. We build innovative technology solutions to help consumers in their buying, renting and selling journeys. We are enabling Realtor.com to build a stronger business by connecting consumers with Real Estate Agents and other Real Estate partners.

A Senior Infrastructure Engineer at Realtor.com is a significant and autonomous contributor on the platform. You solve difficult problems, applying technologies with best engineering practices. You work with your team to design and build infrastructure solutions that solve platform needs. You make appropriate trade-offs and re-use where applicable. You engage with stakeholders, and peers. You help the team by actively participating in the code review process, design discussions, and team planning*.*

• Participate in system architecture and design reviews
• Develop solutions that are of high quality, scalable, and reliable
• Help mentor and develop a team of engineers
• Investigate and prototype technologies that can be leveraged to introduce new innovations
• Be self-directed, take initiative and drive towards solutions with little guidance

What will you bring?

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience in software development
• 5+ years of experience provisioning, building and managing cloud-based solution architectures.
• Experience with database systems and AWS knowledge preferred
• Experience with system design and trade offs between design approaches
• Strong software engineering best practices (e.g. testing, code reviews, documentation).
