We’re looking for an experienced Senior DevSecOps Engineer to support our customer and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers. This is a unique opportunity to help build and shape a game-changing organization where we put our customers and people first.

About the role:

As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer, your day will center around working with your team to design, deploy, operate, and support secure cloud/hybrid environments. Along the way, you will collaborate with your HHS partners and application development teams to effectively deliver features quickly at scale.
A successful candidate has prior experience deploying Kubernetes in multiple ways and supporting automation of platform management at enterprise scale. The engineer shall have experience developing platform APIs that make common software operations scalable and repeatable. The engineer will feel comfortable maintaining the underlying services required to host containerized applications. The engineer will also possess effective communication skills to interact with various stakeholders, internal and external to the organization.

What we are looking for:

• 4+ years of relevant hands-on industry experience
• 4+ years' experience with Docker or Kubernetes, provisioning production clusters and maintaining their compliance
• Experienced with building, deployment, release automation, or orchestration
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
• Experience with configuring CI/CD pipelines using GitLab Runners
• Obtain Security+ within the first 90 days of employment with Raft 

Highly preferred:

• Solid understanding of Helm Charts
• Experience using a variety of package managers/dependency managers including Maven, Gradle, NPM, and Yarn
• Knowledge of Istio
• Experience with supporting enterprise Cloud applications or infrastructure
• Strong familiarity building automation in languages such as Python, GoLang, or Typescript

Clearance Requirements:

• Able to obtain and maintain a public trust security clearance
