Senior DevSecOps Engineer

Our team is rapidly growing and looking for an experienced Senior DevSecOps Engineer to lead DevOps efforts and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers. We enjoy the challenges of human-centered design, security, and scale to create better outcomes for our federal agency partners.  

What we are looking for:  Provide Lead DevSecOps experience in support of the DOD's Chief Digital and AI Office

• 3+ years providing DevSecOps implementation using Jenkins, Gitlab or similar tools
• Subject matter expert in DevSecops methodologies with a "security first" mindset
• Expert level hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker and Helm
• Expert knowledge of source version controls, build/release tools, CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with GitOps and continuous deployment in hybrid environments
• Experience with cloud systems and architectures (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Development with IAC and CaC (Terraform, Jenkins, Packer, Ansible)
• Strong Bash and Python skills
• Ability to provide technical guidance to other engineers
• Strong oral and communication skills
• Obtain Security+ within the first 90 days of employment with Raft

Highly preferred:

• AI/ML model development experience
• Expert-level knowledge of packaging and securing applications as containers and working in Kubernetes
• Experience with AKS, EKS, Rancher, OCP, K3D, or K3S
• Capable of building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines that will support hundreds of applications
• Experience developing software with Java, Spring framework, JBoss,Python Javascript, node.js and/or Angular
• Familiar with microservice architectures, Linux and scripting (Bash,Python, etc.)
• Experience with Istio is a plus
• Security +, CKAD, CKA
