Position Overview : We are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to help raise the security bar for our customer data, applications, and infrastructure at Level AI. This person will actively collaborate with team members and the wider Level AI engineering community in producing quality deliverables in an efficient manner. This person will understand the GCP security landscape & deploy controls to prevent, detect and respond to those security threats. They will work across many teams including infrastructure, engineering, operations, incident response, and offensive security to develop scalable solutions. In addition, they will actively collaborate and share ideas, thoughts and challenges with peers both inside and outside the team.

Responsibilities :

GCP Security:

• Implement and maintain security controls and best practices for GCP environments.
• Monitor and manage cloud security configurations and policies.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits of GCP infrastructure.

Penetration Testing:

• Perform regular penetration tests on our systems and applications.
• Identify and document security vulnerabilities and provide actionable recommendations.
• Work with development and operations teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities.

Security Operations:

• Perform threat modeling and risk assessments to identify potential security issues.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Conduct security training and awareness programs for employees.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, IT, and development teams, to integrate security into all aspects of the development lifecycle.
• Provide guidance and support for secure coding practices and security best practices.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a security engineering role, with a focus on cloud security and penetration testing.
• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) security best practices and tools.
• Hands-on experience with penetration testing tools and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.




Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with security automation and orchestration tools.
• Understanding of network security principles and technologies.
