Senior DevTest Engineer

The Senior Software Engineer will report to the Sr Manager of Engineering, Cyber Security and Data Protection, who will be helping our Cyber Security and Data Protection Engineering team to build quality in products that secure mobile devices, application and data.

The development team works on web filtering, policy enforcement, next-gen firewall, sandboxing, DLP, Saas API, CASB, Sandbox and Endpoint Protection user solutions. Responsibilities/What You’ll Do

• Responsible for validating complex features which includes implementing, automating and executing test cases.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks and tools to streamline testing processes.
• Lead and execute scalability, stress, and performance testing for our products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify performance bottlenecks and propose solutions.
• Interact with customers and partners to simulate customer scenarios which help validate the product.
• Identify and propose areas of improvement throughout the software development process.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
• Evaluate and implement cloud security measures to ensure the highest level of protection for our systems.
• Document and communicate test results, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in cloud security and scalability testing.

Qualifications/Your Background

• Passion and knack for identifying tests that break the code
• Comfort with Python, Java or C programming and strong grasp of operating systems concepts
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar technical field
• 5+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test
• Experience debugging HTTP/HTTPS requests using Fiddler / Wireshark
• Strong TCP/IP and Linux experience
• Experience in AWS, Azure
• Experience in web and mobile (iOS and Android) test automation
• Experience with PKI, network security technologies and protocols
• Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with RESTful APIs, threading, and performance testing
• Experience in security or networking industry
• Strong, object-oriented design and coding skills
• Experience being part of agile team for collaborative execution
• Performance tuning support including test tool development

Good to have experience

• Experience in validating Data Leak Prevention, Advanced Threat Protection, Malware Detection
• Testing, performance benchmarking of Windows/MacOS end machine applications and automation
• Hands on experience with CASB cloud applications
• Experience in AWS, Azure, GCP
