SENIOR DIGITAL ART DIRECTOR

About the Role

Appnovation is seeking a dynamic and experienced Digital Art Director/Associate Creative Director to join our team in Malaysia. This role will play a critical part in supporting the process from our pre-sales to final creative, visual and UX/UI solutions. You will lead the creative direction, working hands-on across various digital and print platforms. As a key member of the creative team, you will be responsible for translating business objectives into innovative design strategies, focusing on user experience (UX) and user interface (UI).

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the pre-sales, marketing, and product teams to create compelling visual narratives that align with business goals.
• Lead and contribute to the design process from concept to completion, ensuring a cohesive and effective visual experience.
• Develop and execute creative concepts across digital and traditional mediums, including websites, mobile apps, presentations, and print collateral.
• Drive UX/UI strategies, ensuring that all designs are intuitive, user-centered, and aligned with client needs.
• Manage a team of designers, providing guidance, mentorship, and feedback.
• Be an brand builder and creative idea generator for the brands and businesses that you are working on
• Keep up-to-date with design trends, tools, and technologies to ensure continuous improvement in design processes and outputs.

Who You Are

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as an Art Director, Associate Creative Director, or in a similar role, with a proven track record in UX/UI and creative digital design.
• Experience in a pre-sales or client-facing environment is a plus.
• Strong hands-on skills in Figma, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat.

• Proficiency in Mac OSX and Microsoft Office
• Proven ability to lead the design process from concept through execution.
• Strong conceptual, systematic, and graphic design skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver on time, with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating ideas to stakeholders at all levels.
• Creative and strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for design, technology, and innovation.
• Ability to build out mock-ups, user flows, prototypes
