C.H. Robinson is looking to add a Senior Digital Communications Manager to our team. In this role you will manage content strategy for C.H. Robinson's digital channels, inclusive of social, website, and internal. This role will advise our leaders and connect internal and external audiences to our strategy and vision. The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills in a variety of channels, have experience partnering with leaders, collaborating across teams (e.g. Marketing, HR, Business, etc.) and have the ability to manage initiatives with a consultative and positive approach. As the Senior Digital Communications Manager, you will create messaging strategies and content that educates, empowers, and engages our employees and external audiences. You will leverage your communications and content creation background along with your ability to develop effective storytelling and communications plans, create engaging content, build audiences, manage social media, and ensure that cross-collaboration is fostered successfully.

This position is located at our Eden Prairie headquarters and is a hybrid role of 2-3 days in office.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic communication initiatives that drive alignment with business objectives, enhancing key audience engagement, spotlighting customer success stories, and showcasing overall company performance
  • Guide the coordination of our digital communication landscape, crafting comprehensive strategies that encompass content calendars, development, and proactive stakeholder management
  • Curate and disseminate impactful content across prioritized internal and external digital platforms, skillfully leveraging both organic and paid social media, to precisely tailored audiences
  • Harness the power of analytics and metrics to gain profound insights into audience dynamics, steering the evolution of our storytelling initiatives, fine-tuning content efficacy, and architecting result-driven plans for heightened engagement
  • Showcase your expertise by leveraging well-established brand assets, ensuring a seamless and resonant brand voice, appearance, tone, and ambiance
  • Spearhead seamless cross-functional collaborations among diverse stakeholder teams, guaranteeing seamless message alignment and integration across a spectrum of subjects and channels
  • Inject a communications-centric lens into company initiatives, deftly constructing strategies and materials that maximize the potency of multi-channel campaign execution
  • Elevate multi-channel campaign strategies by providing actionable insights drawn from your seasoned industry perspective
  • Cultivate a regular cadence of engagement with internal leadership, expertly streamlining campaign execution for maximum impact and efficiency
  • Uphold an unwavering focus on communication excellence, ensuring that initiatives and campaigns are not just effective, but resonate deeply with target audiences

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in communications, media, marketing, or writing
  • Video production experience
  • Graphic design (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced, rapidly changing, results-oriented work environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills; able to prioritize, multi-task, and meet expected deadlines
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with storytelling experience and an ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Fosters teamwork and collaboration, contributes to a positive work environment for team members
  • Excellent planning and project management skills with strong ability to effectively manage multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously
  • Aware of the latest trends and always thinking about ways to innovate and improve current process and structure
  • Ability to motivate and encourage change, able to get positive results in a very large, dispersed organization
