(Senior) Digital Insights Specialist

Purpose of the Job

Senior Digital Insights Specialist will play an important role in Lab IT installation and Automation application support in the implementation phase.

Accountabilities

Perform installation and application support of Roche cross-BA Lab IT products

• Installation of Lab IT hardware and software
• Testing and implementation of Lab IT products on site
• Provide and implement backup and recovery solutions
• Provide operation training to internal and external customers
• Perform troubleshooting
• Perform Preventive Maintenance

Perform application and configuration of Roche automation products

• Involve in planning Roche automation products including site survey and other project forms
• Testing and configuration of Roche automation products onsite in tandem with Roche Lab IT products
• Provide operation training to internal and external customers
• Perform troubleshooting

Perform instrument direct interfacing support

• Provide support and troubleshooting of direct interfacing for Roche instruments

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering/ Information Technology or related subjects.
• Knowledge in Central Laboratory workflow and its corresponding clinical disciplines

Work experience:

• At least 3 years experience in Lab IT or automation support in IVD or related field
• Good understanding of laboratory workflow and dataflow is required
• Working experience in laboratories or in LIS companies can be a bonus

• Good teamwork

Language:

• Fluency in English and Cantonese. Mandarin is an advantage.
