Summary
This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration. The incumbent serves as a Senior Digital Preservation Specialist and reports to the Deputy Director of Digital Preservation, performing assignments in support of digital preservation programs and activities in NARA.

The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. - Must successfully complete a background investigation.
- Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency.

Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
- Experience developing and implementing digital preservation strategies, technologies or procedures;
- Experience performing detailed analysis of electronic record file formats or digital preservation technologies in order to prepare risk analyses;
- Performing electronic record holding audits, providing recommendations, and performing digital preservation actions.
