We are currently seeking a Senior Digital Sales Director - Central to join our team in Detroit, Michigan (US-MI), United States (US).

The Sr. Digital Sales Director will be responsible for originating & closing new business with goals including driving customer satisfaction, growing account revenue, and maximizing profitability. The Sales Director will lead all aspects of customer engagement, account gross margin, account strategy, as well as revenue and service delivery. Additionally, the Sr. Sales Director will be actively initiating and supporting pre-sales/sales efforts in pursuit of new accounts in partnership with the General Manager; as well as supporting those new clients along with supporting existing clients by focusing on the following: Customer relationship management, expansion of services within the account(s) assigned and ensuring the delivery team(s) are delivering high-quality work.

Successful Sales Director's will collaborate well with client personnel and internal team members in technical delivery and business development roles. The Sr. Sales Director contribution will be measured on business growth and the profitability of client engagements.

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Originate and Close new business.
  • Applies a deep understanding of industry trends, business, financials, service offerings, the market, and the needs / challenges of assigned accounts.
  • Understands and applies long-term vision of business/ technology direction for NTT DATA
  • Drives services sales strategies that help drive exponential sales growth.
  • Actively facilitate and collaborate with the General Manager, Client Partners, Consulting Directors and other leaders to grow revenue and expand existing accounts, particularly in finding new buyers
  • Demonstrated ability to sell digital services (cloud, analytics, automation, apps to the cloud) with a primary focus on modern application development from product strategy through to scaling and support.
  • Demonstrated ability & success at meeting and/or exceeding annual quotas of $15+ million TCV.
  • Requires strategic agility to interface and successfully influence multiple executives within the customer organization.
  • Sells to regional, large national and global accounts.
  • Focuses on selling services solutions across geographies.
  • Design and implement sales strategy to achieve sales quota.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrates boardroom executive presence.
  • Ability and willingness to travel 40% of the time.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 12+ years' experience in consulting or IT services industries selling application services.
  • 6+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: strong technology solution definition and delivery in a consulting role; account management and business development experience in the services industry; strong experience with modern application development techniques/trends and depth in one or more vertical industries.

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience as an Application Solution Architect would be a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of SaFE/Agile/Scrum
  • Must be able to resolve issues and manage escalations within engagement teams and directly with the client.
  • Experience selling SOW based work with teams vs. pure staff augmentation.
  • Familiarity and practical experience utilizing elements of a proven sales methodology.
  • Ability to engage and build relations with senior leadership at Fortune 500 organizations.
  • Must be able to drive and lead business discussions with domain solutions support from practice managers.
  • Excellent communication to communicate at all levels and presentation skills.
  • Strong networking skills

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.

This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
